Cordel Faulk
Director of Communications, Media and Research

Cordel Faulk is the director of communications for the University of Virginia Center for Politics. He joined the staff in early September 2008. Previously, he served as commentary editor of the Richmond Times-Dispatch, the newspaper of record for Virginia's state capital region. Faulk joined the staff of the Times-Dispatch after working at the law firms Baker Botts in Dallas and Hunton & Williams in Washington, D.C.

Faulk's main duties include overseeing the Center's media relations and publications. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1998 with a B.A. in political science, and received his law degree from the University of Virginia in 2001.
