11:42 AM Mar 31st: Congrats to IA & SC GOP. States need to get tough with those (such as FL) who would create another ’08 ‘Christmas campaign’ in ’12.

11:46 AM Apr 2nd: Making most sense on Libya: Sen. Jim Webb(D-VA). Too bad Obama’s not listening to his warnings. Too bad Webb’s stepping down.

11:50 AM Apr 2nd: Independent-minded Senators–Founders’ ideal–are rare.Vast majority?Obama cheerleaders or implacable foes–precisely choice VA gets in ’12.

11:50 AM Apr 2nd: Another good Webb idea–across-the-board budget cuts. Less favoritism & politics, everyone treated equally. To be enacted: 12th of Never.

6:57 AM Apr 4th: Nation stunned. Obama announces for reelection. We know what the water cooler talk will be about today! Not.

6:59 AM Apr 4th: Incumbent presidents’ reelection announcements always flat. We know them too well, warts & all. Magic long gone, except for amen chorus.

1:46 PM Apr 5th: With strip tease finally over & Kaine in VA SEN, Obama must’ve decided on new DNC chair. Conventional or unconventional choice? We’ll see.

1:48 PM Apr 5th: Obama not mentioned, DNC chairmanship ignored, in Kaine video. Kaine’s a parochial Virginia politician again.

1:53 PM Apr 5th: Big build-up for Kaine’s GOV term. He senses it could be problem vis-a-vis Allen. Not sure ppl will choose SEN by comparing GOV terms, tho.

11:46 PM Apr 5th: Whether 2008 vs. 2010 (USA) or 2010 vs. 2011 (WI), the pendulum swings both ways, and increasingly quickly.

11:49 PM Apr 5th: Just imagine the $$$ now to be spent in the 16 State Senate recall elections (8R, 8D) to come in WI. Permanent campaign has new home.
