Brian C. Jones

Brian C. Jones is an attorney, lobbyist, and writer who has worked in the United States House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, and at the White House. In addition to his advocacy and communications work in politics, for the last fifteen years he has been a key government relations leader within a corporate environment at Trane Technologies, Ericsson Inc., and Dell Technologies.
Before his work in the private sector, Jones served as a speechwriter and researcher in Office of Presidential Speechwriting at the White House for President George W. Bush. He was later named senior staff lead in the Office of Presidential Advance handling the planning, coordination, and logistical execution of more than 65 events for the President and the First Lady.
Before working at the White House, he began his career in politics in the Majority Leader’s Office of Senator Robert J. Dole.
In his spare time, Jones is a freelance speechwriter and also writes, directs, and produces documentary films, two of which have been nominated for Emmy awards.
Jones is a graduate of the University of Richmond where he majored in both Economics and Speech Communications and minored in Leadership Studies. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law in Washington, DC.
