Center for Politics postpones upcoming public events

Dear Friends and Supporters of the UVA Center for Politics,

In an effort to assist our community in combating the spread of the novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19, the UVA Center for Politics is postponing all public events through early April. The status of events scheduled for later in April and May will be assessed and announced at a later date based on guidance from University administration and state and federal health authorities.

The decision to refrain from holding public events is pursuant to guidance issued by the University of Virginia, and best practices recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and other state and federal agencies.

We are currently working on plans for programming which may be accessed in formats other than public forums, including our regular ongoing election updates via our Crystal Ball available now at https://centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/

Future programming information for the UVA Center for Politics will be posted to the Center’s website at centerforpolitics.org as well as our twitter (@Center4Politics) and Facebook pages.

We wish you good health and thank you for your continued support.  We’ll look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely,

Larry J. Sabato

Director
