Richard S. Gordon is a lawyer, strategic planner, political advisor to candidates and elected officials, and a political analyst.
He is the founder and CEO of Gordon Strategic Advisors, a public policy, strategy and government affairs firm and is the president of the Gordon Law Firm.
Throughout his career, Richard has been heavily involved in public policy and strategic counseling in both the public and private sectors, where he has been a key national government and business affairs strategist and consultant. He works very closely with the nation’s governors and mayors.
Richard has worked at the intersection of government, law, business and politics for over 35 years and has advised more candidates and elected officials than he can remember, from president of the Unites States, to governors, Senators, Congressman, and mayors. He has worked on both the governmental and policy level for such leading politicians as Mario Cuomo and Evan Bayh.
Richard appears frequently as a political analyst on WGN-TV
