Building Expansion
In Spring 2024, the Center will begin construction on an exciting expansion of its home at Montesano on North Grounds, which will allow for hosting classes, events, teacher trainings, and create a student commons. Naming opportunities are still available.
Teaching & Leadership Endowment
Ensure the continued success of the Center for Politics and the advancement of important Jeffersonian ideals for generations to come by making a gift to the leadership endowment. Enhance Professor Sabato’s lifetime commitment to the University by preparing for the future.
UVA Student Stipends
Help spread the Honor Code to the halls of Congress and other State Capitals. Your gift will equip UVA Students in need with the resources to accept unpaid governmental and political internships. With your support we will further enrich students drawn to the higher calling of public service and help launch the careers of the next generation of ethical UVA leaders in politics.
Public-Sector
Student Internships
Help provide financial assistance to UVA students who have public sector internships or public-sector summer jobs. Your donation will be used to launch a virtual five-week summer internship that will provide paid stipends for as many as 50 University students.
Civic Program
Endowments
Sponsor award-winning programs, films, and events and further strengthen the University of Virginia’s largest public service. We annually provide teaching resources and produce nationally recognized programs to spread the fundamentals of American democracy and foster Jefferson’s vision of a more engaged and educated citizenry.
Secure a Matching Gift
Many companies encourage their employees to make charitable contributions by matching their philanthropic support. Donors receive credit for their employers’ matching gifts. The impact of corporate matching support can be enormous.
Use the company search to find out if your employer offers a matching gift program, or consult your human resources office.
You must obtain a matching gift form from your company or human resources office. The University cannot provide these forms to donors.
